Bitfactor gets awarded!

Start Up of the year 2015

Bitfactor was awarded as Start Up of the year 2015 by the city of Oulu. We are very thankful for the acknowledgment. For its part, this award proves that we have done right things and encourages us to work even harder for success and for our home region. To us, this is a recognition to transparent working culture, healthy work community and great working atmosphere overall. We are genuinely happy about the award. Thank you Oulu!

Oulu is an international level technology concentration full of successful businesses and talented people. During the last years, many new companies have been founded here and several multinational businesses have located themselves in the area. The positive vibe and the increasing interest towards Oulu is due to the undoubtedly strong international level technology know-how in the region. Be it a local business or a company from across the world, Oulu offers all the tools for success. This is a great place to be and come even from further away.

Bitfactor’s roots are in Oulu but the willingness to grow and go international is strong. We are aiming to expand our already existing business in Helsinki, elsewhere in Europe and in the United States. Bitfactor has already proven its capabilities in international level for example through Qt service partner program and projects related to it.

Investments in our service portfolio are also starting to pay off. In addition to software development, our service offering now covers also user experience and service design, as well as big data and data analysis services. The scope of our service portfolio is unique in Finland considering the company size. Bitfactor wants to offer better services for companies of all sizes in Oulu and other locations. We truly want to help our customers to be successful.

“There are multiple factors behind this acknowledgement. We want to thank our customers, partners and employees for making this possible. Our software enthusiasts, this is especially for you! ”, states Bitfactor’s CEO Antti Pelkonen.
